General
The mouthpiece you use when you play the saxophone is incredibly important for the sound you get from your instrument. It is therefore advisable to try out different mouthpieces until you are satisfied with the sound and feel you get from the one you use. From D'Addario Woodwinds' Reserve line, this is the D190 mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. With a tip opening of 1.90 mm and a medium round chamber. Good intonation across the entire register of the sax, and a substantial dynamic range with a clear sound - this mouthpiece is ideal for advanced saxophonists.
