Meyer mouthpieces are known for their warm jazz sound and are suitable for big bands to more experimental jazz music. This Meyer BMEANY8 continues to sound even across the entire register with fantastic intonation. Re-released when the Meyer company celebrated its 100th anniversary, the New York series catapults you back to the glory days of the jazz saxophone. The tip opening is a number 8, which is relatively large and allows for more flexibility in your tone. You can blow more air through the opening and so your sound will be darker and richer. A metal ligature and plastic protective cap are included.
