Yamaha produces a diverse assortment of mouthpieces for your saxophone, each and every one with the class you're accustomed to from Yamaha. For alto sax, there are five mouthpieces available in the Standard series: 3C, 4C, 5C, 6C, and 7C. The MP AS 3C mouthpiece is very well suited for beginner musicians and offers a clear, bright sound over the entire range of the instrument.

Standard Series

Saxophone mouthpieces from the Standard series are fashioned from phenolic material. When it comes to specifications and playing characteristics, this mouthpiece is consistent and offers high quality in both craftsmanship and musicality. Because of their shorter facing length the Standard series mouthpieces are easier for beginners to play without sacrificing any of that great Yamaha quality.
