General

The MP TR 5A4 trumpet mouthpiece is part of the Standard series and is ideal for soloists and piccolo trumpet. It features a shallow cup, making it easier to hit the high notes.

The Standard Series

Yamaha designs and produces so many mouthpieces for brass instruments that they needed to be divided up into different series. Because of this wide assortment, there is easily a model available to fit any musician. Standard series mouthpieces are made with the most modern technology, resulting in a large catalogue with pieces that have great playability and weight and that slide on easily and play with precision.
