General
The SF1GP saxophone neck is made for Yamaha soprano saxophones. This "F1" variant has a medium bore, which is important for the feel of the instrument. A small bore is easy to play and gives a lot of control, but a large one gives more freedom and a richer sound. Therefore, this model can be a perfect balance for some players. It is made of brass, which provides good resonance, and the gold-plated finish gives an extra complex sound. This neck has a straight neck, which some players prefer. The SF1RGP neck is available for saxophonists who prefer a curved neck.
