Vandoren's V21 reeds will give your tenor saxophone a dark, centred sound. But the reeds also have a fast response that ensures you can articulate clearly in both the low and high registers. This also allows you to easily overburden large intervals. These features come from the special shape of the reeds. The blade shape is the same as on the V12, meaning a slightly longer cutaway for more vibration. The profile is tapered, meaning that it gets progressively narrower from the tip.
