General

The YSS-875EXHGB is a beautiful soprano saxophone from Yamaha's Custom EX series. There are a number of key features that improve this instrument in terms of looks, sound and comfort. For starters, the ergonomic arrangement of the valves makes it a lot nicer to hold. Instead of adjusting your hands on the saxophone, this model has been adapted to be handled comfortably. You can adjust certain parts, such as the drop-front F valve and the thumb rest to optimise the instrument for you. The one-piece sound cup resonates for a beautiful, stable sound and the two necks (straight or curved) offer a choice between a softer or brighter sound. The mother-of-pearl valves provide a soft feel with still a good grip.
