The instantly recognisable B.B. King Signature edition of Lucille makes a welcome return to the Epiphone line-up. This stunning semi-hollowbody echoes every inch of the King's original - from the removed F-holes to the Varitone switch and TP-6 bridge complete with fine-tuners, for mid-lick pitch-tweaking. Since this is essentially an ES-335 without the soundholes, players are treated to lush, shimmering sound free of any on-stage feedback. The B.B. Kins Signature Lucille comes lovingly tucked up inside a form-fitting EpiLite case.
The Epiphone B.B. King Lucille: Tightened Sound, Deluxe Looks & Pure Tuning
The mounted pair of Alnico Classic Pro pickups deliver a tighter sound than most standard humbuckers, and not only come with a three-way switch, but an extra, six-way Varitone switch to triple the tonal palette. Meanwhile, a familiar acoustic foundation is provided by a spruce top and maple back and sides, a deluxe ebony fretboard, and a C-profile maple neck. Finished with flair, every bit of hardware has been gold-plated, and to ensure rock solid tuning and intonation, you get a Lock-Tone bridge, a set of Grover Rotomatic machine heads, and a Graph Tech nut.

De e, a en d-snaar resoneerden tegen de bovenste vier fretten waardoor de gitaar niet bruikbaar is.
Mijn complimenten voor het filiaal in Apeldoorn voor hun ultime poging de gitaar te reanimeren door de hals af te stellen maar het mocht niet baten.
We waren het er allemaal over eens, dit exemplaar moet terug naar de leverancier.
Ik ben overigens ook keurig gebeld door de helpdesk met de vraag of ik een nieuw exemplaar wilde bestellen.
Die is inmiddels besteld, levertijd ongeveer 11 weken.
Het is niet anders.
Nogmaals ik had pech, geen verwijt aan de medewerkers van Bax-shop.
