The Foo Fighters front-man is a living legend and, since he's been committed to Gibson for decades, it should come as no surprise that daughter company Epiphone now receive the honour of dropping a fresh signature model. A striking mash-up between an ES-335 and a Trini Lopez, the Epiphone DG-335 is an immediately recognisable semi-acoustic guitar with bound diamond-shaped sound holes and matching pearl split diamond position markers, a 6-in-line headstock, and a stylish Pelham Blue paint-job that you can keep in immaculate condition thanks to the Epiphone Dave Grohl custom hardshell case that comes included.
The DG-335 Dave Grohl: Gibson USA Pickups
Since Foo Fighters are known for forceful-and-grungy rock sound, Epiphone has armed this Artist Collection model with a set of real Gibson USA pickups. The BurstBucker 3 at the bridge is an overwound, Alnico 2-grade humbucker that's perfect for impacting rhythm parts, while the BurstBucker 2 at the neck lays down warm leads and cleans. Meanwhile, comfy playability and solid stability are ensured by an elliptical C-profile mahogany neck, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge.
