This legendary Epiphone archtop has remained virtually unchanged since its release in 1935. While a touch more affordable than its direct ancestor, the Swingster edition is still built to voice classic rockabilly, jazz, and rock 'n' roll. The spruce top has been combined with a maple back and sides and a set-in SlimTaper maple neck complete with a Clipped Ear headstock finished with the iconic Tree of Life inlay. The more unruly wooden floating bridge has been replaced with a Locktone Tune-O-Matic bridge with a wooden base that's firmly secured by two pins, while the traditional Frequensator tailpiece has also been removed and upgraded with a licensed Bigsby B30 Vibrato with old-school 'wire handle' tremolo-arm to support those essential fifties-style whammy bar tricks.

This tribute of a semi-acoustic has been equipped with a pair of Alnico V Swingbucker pickups, treating players to warm humbucker tone with just a touch more bite, and to double the fun, you can boost the brightness by popping out the tone pots and unleashing single-coil-style sound. This combo has been teamed up with a 3-way pickup switch and dual volume controls, pushing the tonal potential through the proverbial roof.
