Don't be fooled by the solid-body looks of this Rosa Red Gretsch G5655-CB! This Double Jet electric guitar has a hollow body and offers you that renowned Gretsch sound. A solid spruce center block runs along the length of its 44mm slim body, providing it with a more lively sound with increased sustain and giving you more feedback control when you're playing with high gain. In neck position, the G5655-CB is fitted with a modern Super HiLo'Tron humbucker, a pickup that has been voiced for sparkling cleans and fat, tight bass tones without any humming. Combined with the Black Top Filter'Tron bridge pickup, it allows for a versatile playing style, suitable for any music genre.

Characteristics of the Gretsch G5655T Electromatic Center-Block

The body of the Gretsch G5655T-CB is constructed from high-grade 5-ply maple. Both top and back are arched and fitted with pretty bindings. The neck of the guitar is also made of maple and features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, a 12.5-inch radius and Neo-Classic Thumbnail position markers. The guitar features various controls (a 3-way pickup switch, a volume knob for each pickup, a tone knob for the bridge pickup and a master volume knob) and an Adjusto-Matic bridge in combination with a Bigsby-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece. Additionally, the G5655T-CB is fitted with a set of solid Grover kidney-shaped tuners, four G-arrow knobs and a black pickguard adorned with the Gretsch logo.
