General
Equipped with the big acoustic foundation of a full-sized semi-acoustic maple body combined with a set-in mahogany neck, plus the jazz and blues sonic spectrum laid down by two LV Vintage dual-coils, the Sire Larry Carlton H7F definitely means business. The classic control layout supplies a dedicated tone and volume pot per pickup as well as a three-way selector switch, keeping things comfortable, familiar, and ultra-variable.
The Larry Carlton H7F: Classic Sound & Classic Playability
The overall construction supports classic, airy and warm output, where the trebles are perfectly rounded off. The playability also sticks to a classic recipe, where the C-profile neck has been combined with a 24.75 inch scale length and an ebony fretboard with a 12 inch radius to complete snug and controlled playability. Finishing in true throwback style, Sire has loaded on a stable Tune-O-Matic bridge with a rosewood base and a '50s-esque tailpiece, which team up with a set of Sire Premium sealed machine heads to ensure reliable tuning and accurate intonation.

Aanvankelijk klein beetje teleurgesteld. Ik vond de gitaar wat dunnetjes aanvoelen. De snaren waarmee de gitaar wordt geleverd zijn wat mij betreft veel te licht. Ik heb er nu 0.11 op zitten en dat is te gek. De gitaar voelt en klinkt nu helemaal

Dit is een te gekke gitaar voor die prijs. Niks op aan te merken, perfect afgewerkt en afgesteld. Klinkt zeer goed en is zeer soepel bespeelbaar. Akoestisch klinkt mijn 10 X duurdere (en iets grotere) Gibson wel wat beter, maar de pickups vd LC Sire H7F moeten niet onderdoen voor die vd Gibson. Koop er meteen ook een koffer voor en wees me eeuwig dankbaar voor de goede raad. ;-)
