The Sire Marcus Miller P8 S5 Natural is a high-quality 5-string electric bass guitar that combines modern performance with the versatility of a classic PJ configuration. The swamp ash body delivers powerful bass response, a defined mid-range and an open tonal character. Thanks to the Marcus Super PJ Revolution pickups and the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, you’ll have access to a wide tonal spectrum, ranging from a traditional Precision-style punch to the clarity of a Jazz Bass. The official Sire gig bag is included as standard, so you can transport your instrument safely.

Versatile electronics and premium playing comfort

The torrefied maple neck with a satin finish feels comfortable straight away and benefits from the torrefaction process, which ensures extra stability and a pleasant playing feel. The Edgeless™ fingerboard with rounded edges contributes to a smooth playing experience, whilst the 34-inch scale length and 46 mm wide nut are ideally suited to a 5-string bass. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp offers a 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency and an active/passive switch, allowing you to easily craft your ideal tone.
