The ultra-modern 5-string A5 Plus SC from Cort is not just a contemporary single-cut bass guitar but a lesson in just how effortlessly comfortable the playing experience can get, and the matching quality of sound is a given. The fundamental tone is shaped by two ash body-wings coupled by a solid, 5-piece maple and panga panga neck. The prominent sound this helps produce has a satisfying bite in the high-end and, to get that much-sought-after HiFi-style sound, two Bartolini MK-1 soapbars are at your disposal and can be tweaked to taste using the 3-band EQ and two-way active/passsive pickup switch. For matching modern tuning stability, the Cort A5 is finished with black-painted Hipshot hardware.

Fantastische basgitaar. Speelt geweldig. Geen neck-dive. Klinkt heerlijk. Lekker lage actie. Niet optimaal geïntoneerd helaas bij levering. Prachtige topwood. Wel aan de zware kant: 4,5 kg. Wordt een goeie, mooie en stevige koffertas bijgeleverd.
