This Ibanez hollow-body guitar is perfect for jazz music but is also commonly used for gypsy music. Don't be fooled by the basic looks of this guitar as it's actually quite a serious instrument. This guitar can produce warm and mellow tones but is also capable of making wilder, more roaring sounds. Either way, it remains an instrument with character which you'll clearly notice when you start playing.

This guitar produces a solid, warm sound. Thanks to the maple body, the wooden bridge and its long trapeze tailpiece, each vibration is perfectly transferred to the body which really benefits the natural sound and acoustic volume of this guitar. This guitar is very comfortable to play thanks to the neck made of rosewood. Also when using an amplifier, you want to preserve its natural sound and to this end, Ibanez has used an SMH1 pickup for this guitar which provides a nice, sultry sound.

Daarnaast is de gitaar zelf echt geweldig.
Lichter dan hij lijkt, klinkt mooi bijna akoestisch unplugged.
Plugged-in is het een Jazzbox van de eerste rang.
De tone button bepaald heel erg het geluid, elke stand klinkt totaal anders.
Het staartstuk is heel mooi naar mijn mening.
De floating Pick-up klinkt geweldig en zorgt (door het floating gedeelte eraan) dat de gitaar akoestisch dus ook echt akoestisch klinkt.
Perfect gitaartje.
