Known for treating guitarists to timeless sound at an attainable price, the Ibanez Artcore Series hollowbody guitars includes the Expressionist: classic looks suited up with the old-school sound. The Ibanez AS93FM doesn't just bear the traditional finish of a flamed maple top, a bound fretboard, and gilded hardware, but the rounded trebles and clear and transparent acoustic foundation of a fully maple build. This is topped by the more modern stability of a three-piece nyatoh-and-maple neck and a deluxe Macassar ebony fretboard.
The Ibanez AS93FM: Big Foundation, Classic Sound
This Ibanez semi-acoustic offering comes armed with the old-school amplified tone of two Super 58 humbuckers that boast big, voluminous sound, packed with the warmth of double-coil output combined with Alnico III cores. This has been combined with a trusted electronics section that's easily harnessed via the four control pots and three-way switch to scroll through a mass of tonal profiles. Everything from Trad-Jazz and Classic Rock to Indie and Brit-Pop is supported, all without a hint of undesired feedback, and all backed up by the firm tuning of the Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quick Change III tailpiece - which also speeds up string changes.
