Meet Ibanez's JSM10 semi-acoustic guitar. The features and quality of this affordable signature guitar by John Scofield are similar to the ones of the original JSM100 hollow-body, the only big difference is the friendly price. This JSM10 John Scofield Vintage Yellow Sunburst version comes with a luxury Ibanez case and is fitted with D'Addario EXL 140 (.010 - .052) round wound strings.
Ibanez JSM10 VYS: balanced with great sustain
Just like its big brother, this semi-acoustic Ibanez has a body made entirely of flamed maple. Its neck is made of sapele wood and has an ebony fretboard. All of these wood types combined create a balanced, acoustic basic sound with a nice amount of sustain. This is greatly contributed by the fixed ART-1 bridge and the Quik Change III tailpiece. Moreover, thanks to the double cutaway and familiar Ibanez fretboard radius, you can comfortably play any chord high up the neck.
Incredibly versatile jazz and rock sounds
The JSM10 John Scofield has two Super 58 Custom humbuckers on board that perfectly complement the already great basic sound of this semi-acoustic Ibanez. These pickups provide a classic, warm and versatile Alnico-sound that is great for jazz and rock styles. Thanks to the standard four potentiometers and the 3-way pickup switch, you get that well-known versatility which is even further enhanced by means of the Tri-Sound button. With this control you can switch between parallel, series and coil-tap humbucker sounds. This makes the JSM10 such an exceptionally versatile Ibanez hollow-body.

Afwerking en bouwkwaliteit
De afwerking van deze gitaar is fenomenaal. Alles voelt premium aan, van de verfijnde bindingen tot de nauwkeurige plaatsing van de hardware. Je merkt meteen dat Ibanez geen concessies heeft gedaan in de bouwkwaliteit. Dit is een gitaar die jarenlang meegaat en moeiteloos professioneel gebruik aankan.
Speelcomfort
Een ander hoogtepunt is hoe licht en soepel deze gitaar speelt. De hals ligt heerlijk in de hand en de actie is perfect afgesteld. Zelfs langere speelsessies voelen moeiteloos aan, en dat is een groot pluspunt voor zowel beginners als gevorderde spelers.
Klank en veelzijdigheid

Lutherie de qualité et belles finitions...
Micros puissants et micro manche au son chaud jazzy...
Guitare très polyvalente avec de multiples combinaisons de micros grâce au toogle principale couplé à un mini toogle
Manche large mais fin, bonne prise main, j'éprouve beaucoup de plaisirs à jouer du jazz au rock voir au métal...
