The DW Drums Performance 3-Piece Shell Set

This DW Drums developed three-piece stunner bundles up a hefty 22 inch by 18 inch kick with a 12 inch by 9 inch rack tom and 16 inch by 14 inch floor tom. Each shell is formed by eight thin layers of maple that have been bound and glued using the unique HVX process, which takes the direction of the wood graining of each layer into account, resulting in supremely optimised sound. The bearing edges have also been rounded off at a 45°, ensuring seamless shell-to-drumhead contact, while True-Pitch tension rods and triple-flanged hoops guarantee stable tuning and excellent tone.
