This mouth-watering shell set bundles up five shells made from ultra-thin maple and fitted with tight and modern hardware. Polished off by an Indigo Sparkle wrap and authentic T-badges, this set comes backed up by a forty-year-long legacy - because that's how long Tama have been building Superstar Series shells. The maple construction shapes full and powerful, muscular sound that can be adapted to any playing style, while the rock configuration sets you up with a 22 inch by 16 inch bass drum, a 10 by 7 inch and 12 by 8 inch tom, a 16 inch by 14 inch floor tom and a 14 inch by 6.5 inch snare.
The Tama Superstar Classic: Authentic & Modern
Those T-shaped badges lend these shells the same authentic, vintage flair of older Superstar kits and to guarantee big volume, the wood used for the build has undergone a strict quality control process before the 8-ply wall of the kick drum and 6-ply walls of the toms are glued together. The retro-look is completed by the Low-Mass lugs, which have been exclusively designed for the Superstar Classics to ensure minimal shell-contact and maximum resonance, and the included Star-Mount system for the toms is just as efficient since the mounting point is positioned between the tension rods of each tom.
