Boasting the wide tuning range demanded by all-round drummers, the Tama Starclassic Maple four-piece can be set up for everything: from pop to rock, and from funk to metal. The kick features a 7mm-thick, 8-ply wall while both the rack toms and floor tom feature 5mm-thick, 6-ply walls, and each shell has been made from maple to guarantee a warm and focussed response with a clear attack and plenty of solid projection. The rack toms have also been given deeper shells, supporting bigger punch and presence, which is fully supported by the included Start-Cast mounting system and set of Quick-Lock brackets. To finish the pack, each drum comes complete with a set of Evans drumheads and Die-Cast hoops.

Besides the Marine Shoreline finish of each shell, this set has also been decked out with the unique flair of black nickel-plated hardware, polishing off the stage-ready look. And, since this is a rock-configured set, it includes a 22 inch by 16 inch kick drum, a 10 inch by 7 inch and 12 inch by 8 inch rack tom, and a 16 inch by 16 inch floor tom, which is supported by the enhanced resonance of a set of floating floor tom legs.
