This Tama WBR42S-TQP Starclassic W/B Turquoise Pearl 4d. shellset consists of four shells that are a hybrid between walnut and birch wood. Thus, the toms consist of 4 layers of birch and the 2 inner layers of dark walnut with a thickness of 6 mm. The bass drum consists of 5 layers of birch wood and the 2 inner layers of dark walnut with a thickness of 8 mm. This shellset consists of a 22 x 16-inch bass drum, a 10 x 8-inch suspended tom, a 12 x 9-inch suspended tom and a 16 x 14-inch floortom. The walnut wood provides a warm sound while the birch wood gives the drums a solid and focused attack. This set comes with no hardware, no cymbals and no snare drum, but with the Tama MTH1000 double tom holder.
