The SPLITMix4
With this mixer/splitter you will never run short of inputs or outputs. The SPLITMix4 can function as a splitter but also as a mixer. This means that you can go from one input to four outputs (splitter) or from four inputs to one output (mixer). Each channel has a level button to control the incoming or transmitting signal. As the SPLITMix4 is completely passive, you won't need a power adapter. As a result, you won't be bothered by any noise or distortion.

TBH, I give this Art SplitMix 4 Splitter / Mixer 4.5 out of 5. I dont reckon the volume level drops all that much. The usual Art good sound quality for an affordable price. I cannot understand why Art have recently discontinued this Art SplitMix 4 and several of their other useful boxs, including the Art Dual RDB Reamp (Or as I prefer to call it due to my use for it - a Line to Guitar converter). Also discontinued several of their DI box's, with no news yet at least about any new models to replace them. Why ?? Perfectly good timeless items. The Art Dual RDB "Reamp" line to guitar converted was the only affordable Reamp box in the world.

ART SPLITMix4 4-channel splitter/mixer

Erg handig en eenvoudig te gebruiken apparaat als je verschillende geluidsbronnen tegelijk door je koptelefoon wilt horen. Voor mij echter niet bruikbaar. Ik wilde het apparaat gebruiken om tijdens het drummen de trigger en de clicktrack te kunnen horen. Het volume ging echter zo ver omlaag dat ik beide signalen niet goed genoeg hoorde. Ik besefte dat ik een actieve mixer nodig had en heb daarop dit apparaat terug gestuurd en een Devine MixPad 502 aangeschaft. Deze werkt voor mij prima.

Sommigen beweren dat het volumeverschil niet veel is. Als je een (klein) volumeverschil voor lief neemt is dit een ideaal apparaat. Is dat voor jou niet acceptabel dan kun je beter iets anders kopen, zoals, in mijn geval, een mixpad.
