General
The Earthworks QTC40 is a microphone capable of capturing the smallest details. With its extremely wide frequency range with perfectly flat response, it manages to produce highly realistic reproduction of virtually any sound source. In addition, with its omni-directional directional characteristic, it does so instantly in 360 degrees. This makes it ideal as a room mic or, for example, to record orchestras or ensembles. Because it has a range of up to as much as 40 kHz, recordings are true to life. Its compact design makes it easy to place, even in tight spaces. In addition, thanks to an SPL of 140 dB, you won't soon have too much volume for this microphone.
