The Lewitt LCT 140 AIR Stereo Pair includes two stereo-matched small-diaphragm condenser microphones that are made for recordings acoustic instruments, choirs and more. Lewitt have equipped the 140 AIR with two classic sound modes - AIR and FLAT - where AIR Mode opens up a bright, airy sound that's so good you'll barely have to do any tweaking post-recording. On the flip side, FLAT Mode packs a different response, one that's more cut out for drums, strings, bowed instruments and choirs.
An Extremely Flexible Pair of Mikes For All Instruments
The two condensers that are part of each 140 AIR Stereo Pair are accurately matched in terms of frequency response and sensitivity with the help of an intelligent pairing algorithm. In addition, each microphone features a low-cut filter and a PAD switch for the noise-free recording of any extra-loud audio sources, and comes complete with its own clip and windshield. To finish, Lewitt throw in a handy transport bag so you can safely carry both mikes in one go.

Wrote the following about Lewitt LCT 140 AIR Stereo Pair Condenser Microphone Set
Eerst en vooral komen de microfoons als perfect gematched stereo paar, samen met 2 clips en 2 popfiltertjes, niets extravagant maar toch handig.
Ook de extra settings zoals de lowcut filter, pad en de "air" knop zijn zeker een meerwaarde.
Vooral voor deze laatste was ik bang dat deze de opnames te "bright" en scherp zou laten klinken. Wat bij het opnemen van akoestische gitaar zeker niet het geval was. Integendeel, het zorgt ervoor dat de belangrijkste hoge frequenties van de gitaar nog meer in de schijnwerper komen te staan, waardoor je tijdens het mixen al een meer afgewerkt product hebt.
Daarbovenop zijn de mic's vederlicht, waardoor je geen last hebt van de arm van je mic stand die tijdens de opname begint te zakken.
Wat de set zou afmaken is een extra stereo bar die er bij zou zitten. Maar dat is muggenziften.
Voor deze prijs een must have in je studio!
