Loaded with both a cardioid and an omnidirectional capsule, the MXL V67N is a brilliantly versatile, studio-grade microphone that can just as easily be used to record an acoustic guitar as it can be deployed as a drum overhead. The cardioid pickup pattern guarantees an extreme focus when capturing sound from up close and adds a sweet dose of warmth, while the omnidirectional capsule does everything it can to accurately record the original sound of your instrument without any colour to it. Set up two MXL V67Ns, and you'll be looking at a stereo pair you wish you'd gotten sooner.
