General
Do you need stereo recordings at an attractive price? This Samson C02 is what you need. The C-02 microphones are very versatile. They can be used for recording acoustic instruments, cymbals, percussion, piano or as overheads.
The C-02s have a super-cardioid pickup pattern, which allows for very selective recording. They have a very flat linear frequency response and an extra sensitive element with low resistance, which allows these C-02 pencil microphones to reproduce a precise sound.
This luxury set comes in a solid case with foam protection and includes two shock-mounted microphone clamps to minimise vibrational sounds. All in all, this Samson C-02 set is a complete microphone set at an attractive price.

Excellent value and good quality. I have a number of more expensive microphones which offer no obvious benefits. The CO2 is now my standard "goto" mic for instrument recording. The mic clips surround the mic safely but isolate well. Far better than the garbage that came with my AKG P170s - one mic wrecked when it popped out of the inadequate clip. No such problem with the CO2. A decent bit of kit at a sensible price.

Ik heb ze inmiddels ingezet voor opname van akoestische gitaar en overhead bij drums.
Geeft en hele goede weergave van zowel gitaar en drums.

Voor deze prijs kun je je niet beter wensen. Twee microfoons met erg goed geluid. De kappen (popfilters) die erbij zitten zijn echter vrij dun en voegen weinig toe, maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Zéker de moeite waard.

Voor deze prijs en formaat is het een kwalitatief goede microfoon!
Uit ervaring raad ik deze microfoons, in combinatie met andere microfoons, aan voor instrument opnames (gitaar, piano, etc.). In mindere mate geschikt voor vocalen vanwege het lage dynamische bereik. Vocalen kunnen worden opgenomen, maar lastig in een mix te plaatsen.
Bijgeleverde plastic case zeer handig voor bescherming tijdens transport en opberging.
XLR aansluiting solide en levert geen storing op.

Deze microfoons zijn erg goed, inmiddels hebben wij 8 stuks in gebruik, erg goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, wij gebruiken deze microfoons voor toneelvoorstelling en voor live instrumenten zelfs als overhead microfoons bij onze drumkit microfoons

Heb deze microfoons een aantal maanden geleden gekocht, en was verbaasd over de kwaliteit ervan. Zeker voor deze relatief lage prijs! Ik gebruik ze om mijn akoestische piano op te nemen, maar ik heb er ook wat in gesproken, wat wederom zeer helder klonk. Je hoort zelfs de meest zachte geluiden, maar toch hoor je geen enkele vorm van ruis in de opname. Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan bedenken, is dat het geluid niet zo "warm" klinkt. Maar de meeste mensen die deze microfoons kopen zullen hier geen last van hebben, omdat ik zelf gewoon perfectionistisch ben. ;)
Ik kan deze microfoons dus zeer aanraden, en de levering van Bax was ook fantastisch! (had het een dag later al in huis, en alles was zorgvuldig verpakt)
NB: de houders die hierbij geleverd worden passen perfect op de meeste statieven (ik heb statieven van het merk Innox).
