As the successor to the W-515, it's fitted with a newly designed piping system and an optimised heating element to combine improved smoke output with a longer lifespan. The Antari W-515D: A Smoke Monster
Compared to fazers and hazers, the W-515D produces some serious bursts of smoke, the output of which can be adjusted via DMX or the included remote control. What's more, this smoke machine uniquely features a wireless receiver so that your DMX signals can be sent without the need for a data cable; all you need is a power cable and a little smoke fluid. To prevent so-called dry-cooking, the fluid level is constantly monitored by an optical sensor while the evaporation is also continuously checked for consistent smoke quality. Since barely any residue is left behind in the process, a longer lifespan is guaranteed.
Application
Smoke machines can serve a wide array of purposes and are usually incorporated in fixed installations where they can sit for a while without requiring frequent maintenance. Theatres, venues, rental companies and travelling musicians, they all make eager use of smoke machines.
