Turn your beloved mic into a wireless microphone with the Shure SLXD3 snap-on transmitter. This can even be a condenser microphone as the transmitter provides phantom power, as long as the mic has a 3-pin xlr jack. So you can use any vocal mic for interviews or panel discussions. But feel free to use it for your shotgun mic too. This way, you no longer have to deal with rumble noise reaching the microphone through the cable. Moreover, you can easily shorten your boompole a little without your excess cable dangling in the picture. The SLXD3 transmitter runs on AA batteries or on a separately available SB 903 battery.
