Fortunately, you won't have this problem with the Code Drum Heads STERCT14 Sterling Coated 14-inch snare drumhead. That's because this drumhead is composed of two layers of no less than 7.5 mil! There's also a reinforcement dot in the middle, which removes annoying overtones. So you can hit many a backbeat on it before you have to replace it with a new one. Besides good durability, this sheet also has a top sound. It draws out the deepest tones from your snare without losing articulation.
