General

A snare drum doesn't have to be expensive to be effective! This 13 x 3.5-inch Mapex MPX Steel delivers a sharp, focused sound that will serve you well as both a main or an auxiliary snare, particularly in genres such as funk, hip hop or drum and bass. It's 1mm-thick steel shell allows for plenty of tone and resonance, and its shallow depth gives the snare its focused sound.

It's equipped with 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops which allow for ear-splitting rimshots and keep your snare drum perfectly in tune for a long time.

Furthermore, the snare is equipped with Remo UX drumheads, making it easy to tune and further enhancing its sound.

In short, this astonishingly affordable snare drum is the perfect choice for drummers who want a quality birch snare drum without breaking the bank!

Mapex MPX Steel snare drum 13 x 3.5 inches
