In their new SensiTone series of snare drums, Pearl used only the best materials and the latest production methods. This STA1465MM, for instance, is equipped with ARL lugs and SN1420D snares. And because it's made from first-class maple, this snare has a very warm sound.
Pearl STA1465MM Maple SensiTone snare drum
The STA1465MM has a rich, deep sound because it is made from six plies of maple. That also brings the thickness of the shell up to a whopping 5.4 mm, making this a very robust snare drum. Plus, the SR-150 snare strainer with Gladstone-style throw-off and Click-Lock technology allow you to quickly adjust your snares. And with the SuperHoop II hoop and Remo Coated Ambassador drumheads you are getting a lot of bang for you buck!
