From Tama's Sound Lab Project series, this is a 12 x 5.5-inch 2015 Limited Edition snare drum. This premium snare has a Figured Natural Birch finish, giving it a gorgeous look. It's made of ten plies of birch, with an outer ply of figured birch.

Dynamic range

This snare drum's shell is 6 mm thick, allowing for maximum resonance and a bright sound, while its 12 x 5.5-inch size gives it a tight, poppy sound, making it ideal for use as an auxiliary snare. Furthermore, it features 20-strand snare wires and excellent, high-quality shell hardware, such as the die-cast hoops and brass lugs. This snare is delivered with an Evans Power Center Reverse Dot batter head, in combination with an Evans 300 Clear resonant head.
