General
The Sound Lab Project series by Tama includes some real gems, like this Fat Spruce 14 x 6-inch snare drum that's made of pine, which is a type of wood that is not commonly used in drum shells. This wood type is very dense, which makes it difficult to bend into shape. The 8-ply shell is 7 mm thick and it delivers a warm tone. Thanks to the Die-Cast hoops, this snare can produce a mean rim shot!
For every drummer
All Sound Lab Project snare drums are created especially so that each individual drummer can find their own custom sound. A consistent factor in each shell is the high-quality hardware. This snare has a chrome Liner-Drive strainer and lugs that complement the Wild Satin Spruce finish beautifully. This snare is a real find for drummers who want to set themselves apart from the rest.
