If you have the Tama Starclassic Performer shellset with Dark Cherry Fade finish, then of course it would be nice if you could also add the matching snare drum to your set. Or of course if you simply love cool snare drums: because this one meets the requirements! The snare has a diameter of 14 inches and is 5.5 inches deep in total. The shell is made of a hybrid of maple and birch (maple/birch), providing a nice mix between the defined and recognisable sound of maple and the high and low frequency range of birch.

The Tama MBSS65-CAR snare drum features chrome-plated shell hardware and Die-Cast tension edges. The shell is fitted with Evans G1 and Hazy 300 drumheads, and an MS20R14S string mat. In terms of woods, the snare is constructed as follows: 2 layers of maple wood, 4 layers of birch wood, with a total shell thickness of 6mm. Naturally, the snare features an attractive "Starclassic" badge. A fine all-round snare drum, which actually has its advantages in every tuning.
