With this Tama Starclassic Maple Exotic snare drum you get a versatile 13 x 6-inch snare that can be used as a main snare but also as a side snare! The snare is made of maple wood, a very commonly used wood type in drums - and with good reason. The sound is very universal and recognisable, and can be used for almost all styles of music with the right tuning and heads. The shell has a thickness of 7 mm and is made of no less than 8 layers. This snare features an Exotic Lacquer finish and chrome-plated shell hardware. You also get cast Die-Cast tension edges, Starclassic Lugs tension blocks and a Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon string mat with 20 strings. The Linear Drive Strainer string tensioner is detachable in its entirety with the string mat, making it easy to replace your resonance sheet.
