General
Whether you use this Tama Starclassic Maple Exotic snare as your main snare drum or just as a side snare, both is a great option! The snare has a slightly more compact diameter of 13 inches and a depth of 6 inches, resulting in a snare that you can tension very high, without losing character and body due to the shell depth. Speaking of the kettle, it is made of 8 layers of maple wood with a thickness of 7 mm and finished with a cool exotic silk lacquer. The kettle hardware is black nickel-plated, for a cool, unique and notably 'premium' look. Also included are die-cast Die-Cast tensioning edges, Starclassic Lugs tensioning blocks and a Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon string mat with 20 strings. The Linear Drive Strainer string tensioner is removable in its entirety with the string mat, making it easy to replace and tune your resonance sheet.
