Besides a sound that says 'U', this snare drum also has the looks! This Tama MES1465 Starclassic Maple snare drum has a very nice exotic lacquer finish and is constructed from a total of no less than eight layers of maple wood. On drums, this type of wood delivers a bright, warm sound with excellent projection. Whether you play pop, rock, funk or metal, this all-rounder can handle it. The chrome-plated, moulded tensioning edges ensure a balanced sound and also contribute to stable tuning. The Linear Drive Strainer string tensioner allows you to be able to replace your resonance sheet without having to loosen the tension of your strings. You can take off the entire string mat with the strainer in one go!
