General
This Tama MES1465U Starclassic Maple snare is a fine all-rounder and, besides a beautiful exotic lacquer finish, it also features cool Smoked Black Nickel shell hardware! This combination results in a great look, but you can't complain about the sound either: the shell is constructed from no less than eight layers of maple wood, resulting in a warm, clear and balanced all-round sound, suitable for a multitude of musical styles. You also get moulded Die-Cast tensioning edges, Starclassic Lugs tensioning blocks and a Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon string mat with 20 strings. The Linear Drive Strainer string tensioner is detachable in its entirety with the string mat, making it easy to replace your resonance sheet and replace the tensioner.
