Tama's Starclassic Maple snare drum combines a powerful attack with the warm tone of maple. The hoops cast from zinc deliver satisfying high-end 'crack' and response. Furthermore, the Tama MRS1465 features sensitive Hi-Carbon strings stretched closer to the resonance sheet for a sensitive response and a more clear snare sound. The 'Linear-Drive' strainer gives you more control over how you tighten the strings. Even if you pull the lever quickly, you won't hear the typical 'slap' when the strings hit the bottom sheet.
