The Tama Metalworks Black Monochrome with a Black Chrome batter head (MT1465DBN) is a limited edition snare drum. The Metalworks snares stand out thanks to their relatively thick 1.2mm steel shells. In combination with the die-cast triple-flanged hoops, this provides an optimal sound. This special edition comes with a black batter head by Evans, which perfectly matches the stylish, dark-chrome exterior of the rest of the drum. Please note: only available in a limited number.

Wrote the following about Tama MT1465DBN Metalworks Black Chrome Limited snare drum

Onlangs deze snaredrum gekocht als reserve-snare.....ik speel op een Ludwig Supraphonic 402 en wilde voor optredens nog een snaredrum achter de hand hebben.

De Tama is perfect afgewerkt en zit een prachtig geluid in...ook het gemonteerde Evans dubbel-vel is van goede kwaliteit en dat is soms wel eens anders!!

Dat Tama goed heeft gekeken naar de Ludwig Snaredrums zal een kenner gelijk opvallen maar het is een fijne snare om mee te spelen.

Met een Coated Remo Ambassador als slagvel kun je een prachtig geluid tevoorschijn toveren wat menigeen nog zal verbazen.

In ieder geval vind ik de prijs aan de lage kant voor wat je hier allemaal mee kunt en ben persoonlijk (als professional) meer dan tevreden over de Tama Black Chrome snaredrum.....

Als je van metalen snaredrum ketels houdt, kun je hier zondermeer probleemloos instappen.....een prachtig klinkend instrument!!!!
