The big advantage over machine-hammered snare drums is that each snare in this series has its own unique sound characteristics and excels in sustain and balance. In addition, the Customized Brass Mighty Hoops also add some goodness to the sound: they deliver a sharp and bright attack. The combination of the hand-hammered shell with these hoops, creates a recognisably warm, lively and bright sound with lots of attack.
