Tama's Woodworks snare drums are made of 8 plies of poplar that give them a warm, full sound with an average attack. This model measures 14 x 6.5 inches and has a wonderful Zebrawood Wrap finish. The hoops, lugs and tensioning mechanism all have a stylish matte black finish. It's a great snare drum for beginners and makes an excellent side snare too - not to mention an attractively priced one.
