The days when add-ons were only used by cajon-players are over. These days, drummers and percussionists are looking for new, inspiring possibilities to create new sounds. Latin Percussion is just as interested in sound innovation, which is why they've developed the Sound Enhancer Snare, which adds the effect of a snare to your tom, floor tom or timbales. If your drums have flanged hoops, you're in luck, as the Sound Enhancer is not compatible with die-cast hoops. This effect works especially well in combination with a well-tuned floor tom.
Latin Percussion LP1623 Sound Enhancer Snare
When you look at the LP1623, it's clear to see that Latin Percussion has taken the wide variety of snare mats on the market into consideration when developing this Sound Enhancer Snare. Although it has similar sound properties, the way it's mounted is much easier; in fact, it doesn't even need to be mounted! Simply place the Sound Enhancer between the flanged hoop and the head of your drum and a built-in magnet will keep it in place. No need to screw around with screws!
There are three different Sound Enhancers available: the Jingle, Shaker, and Snare. By combining these three in various ways, or even doubling up the same effect, the possibilities are endless!
