Clipjes schieten graag los, dus heb ik de ouderwetse draadjes maar gebruikt. Geluid is hetzelfde als andere strainers. Was benieuwd geworden na al die haleluja verhalen maar het is allemaal hetzelfde materiaal. Gedonder ook met monteren omdat de boel graag los schiet.

Elke keer als ik een snare hoorde waar ik heel blij van werd, zat er zo'n matje onder. Zelf gekocht en nooit meer anders. Elke drummer en elke geluidsman is het erover eens.
Deze snares klinken veel helderder (meer en mooiere hoge frequenties), strakker (geen na rammeltjes) en minder resonerend met bijv. je monitor of de bas amp.
Dit matje reageert ook heel mooi als je de snaren losser draait. Net of je de decay van je snare piekfijn kan regelen.

Deze snarenmat zit nu op mijn Ludwig Acrolite en op mijn Mapex Black Panther.
De installatie is heel makkelijk en de snarenmat is ook makkelijk los te halen of te wisselen als het nodig is.
Het geluid is subliem! Veel beter dan de standaard snarensets.

Zo veel beter dan welke snarenmat dan ook die standaard is meegeleverd aan de meeste snaredrums.
Dit is echt een upgrade en de snaar blijft ook veel rustiger als de bassist gas geeft ;-)

Heeft het standaard matje dat onder m'n snare hing vervangen en zorgt direct voor een flinke upgrade van het geluid. Onze bassist was er ook van onder de indruk. Niet verwacht dat het zo'n duidelijk verschil zou maken!

Ben in bezit van een Ludwig Supraphonic snaredrum (LM402) en daar zit standaard een 20 snarenmat onder.
Aangezien ik nogal experimenteer heb ik de 24 snarenmat van Puresound gemonteerd en die gaat er niet meer af ook.....een heerlijk brede sound, ook onder een wat hoger gespannen resonantievel!
Een aanrader mag ik wel zeggen!!

M'm snarematje van m'n Ludwig Classic Maple was aan vervanging toe. Uiteindelijk gekozen voor de Custom Pro snaremat van Puresound.
Vooralsnog zeker geen spijt van. Ben echter wel benieuwd of de clipjes die het matje en de nylon strip bij elkaar houden het vol gaan houden. Gelukkig krijg je er drie clipjes bij.
