Zelf heb ik een hele goede ervaring met dit product. Dit vel zit samen met Evans B14HW Heavy Weight slagvel op mijn snaredrum en ben hier heel erg over te spreken.

Meestal gebruik ik de 300 hazy als resonantievel. Maar voor het zwaardere werk, pak ik de 500 serie. Prima, nog steeds dun. Maar iets meer rock, ballen en laag.

Ik heb altijd Remo gebruikt maar had met al hun vellen last van nare boventonen in mijn snaredrum. Daarom heb ik besloten om Evans' Genera HD Dry slagvel aan te schaffen in combinatie met dit resonantievel. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n heerlijke klank uit mijn snaredrum gehaald! Het maakt niet uit of je hard of zacht slaat (liever hard natuurlijk:), je hebt altijd een mooie droge maar toch levendige klank. Ik heb het laatste beetje overtonen dat je nog hoorde weggewerkt met Slapklatz demppads. Ik ben fan, het is een echte aanrader!

Top resovel. Zeker in combi met het B14HW slagvel. Erg makkelijk te stemmen en een mooie open klank zonder te veel boventonen. Voor mij voorlopig het beste wat ik gebruikt heb.

Een erg fijn resonantievel!
Ik heb altijd erg veel problemen met boventonen en dergelijke in mijn snaredrum. Dempende bovenvellen werkte niet echt voor mij. Dit resonantievel is iets dikker dan de standaard hazy 300 en hierdoor heb ik minder last van vervelende boventonen. Ik zou deze zeker eens proberen!
