Enige tijd geleden kocht ik een mooie Tama SLP Fat Spruce snaredrum 14 x 6 inch. Hoewel het een topklasse trommel is was ik toch niet echt tevreden over de sound, ik bleef maar stemmen en afstellen; er zat (bijna) altijd een bijgeluidje/rammeltje in. Omdat het een nieuwe trommel (met nieuwe snaremat) is dacht ik niet gelijk aan het vervangen van de snaremat maar uiteindelijk toch gekozen voor Puresound CPS1420 snaremat. Direct na montage van de snaremat hoorde ik de verbetering in sound, zonder snarebuzz! Echt een aanrader!
