For this snare drum, 12 steel strings are placed at exactly equal distances from each other. This gives the drum a fast response and clear string sound. The strings are fitted with Puresound's standard sturdy end clips, which ensure that the tension remains on the mat. This mat can be mounted on an 8-inch sheet and is suitable for both solid and quiet types of music.
