The best way for connecting cables solidly is to solder the connectors together. This HQ soldering iron makes this very easy. The temperature of the iron can be adjusted between 200 and 450 degrees Celsius. The warm-up time is only 180 seconds, so you can get to work very quickly.

Mijn oude Weller 15W en kon mijn nieuwe pickup niet meer solderen niet meer voor elkaar. We hadden ook nog wat oorbellen die gesoldeerd moesten. De nieuwe bout werd snel geleverd de dag erna dat is fijn wanneer mijn basgitaar open ligt. Met deze soldeerbout lukt het wel allemaal wel.

Komt een beetje plastic-achtig over maar werkt voorlopig zoals gewenst.
Temperatuur-regeling is wel praktisch.
Soldeerpunt is wel wat minimaal voor het zwaardere werk.
