Cascha CFL1G Soprano Recorder Student German Fingering soprano recorder (German bore)

General

A wooden recorder sounds warm and responds lightly, but keeping one in good order does not always go to plan in children's hands. Plastic, on the other hand, is easy to keep clean, yet it misses that warm timbre. Cascha approaches the matter from both sides with the CFL1G Soprano Recorder Student: the body is made of sycamore maple, while the mouthpiece is made of maintenance-friendly plastic. The wood gives you the warm sound and light response, and the sturdy mouthpiece can be washed under the tap. That is welcome when the recorder goes to school or to lessons every week. The coloured mouthpiece is an eyecatcher among the other recorders on the table, too.

Tradition and convenience in a student model

The CFL1G is intended for children from 6 years old and for anyone starting musical early education or music lessons, but it is convincing enough for advanced players as well. It plays easily across the whole range, so you never have to fight for the high notes. The recorder consists of two parts that close together with a high-quality seal, and you can take it apart after playing so that it dries out, which is what the included recorder cleaning rod is for. The lined, lockable bag keeps everything together in the school bag. Do note that this is the model with German fingering.
