General
The Alto Pro MixPack 10 is a dependable, compact PA system for use in small venues. It's the ideal choice for singer-songwriters and acoustic combos, as well as for those giving small-scale presentations. The system consists of two speakers, a mixer and two speaker cables. It's what's known as a powered mixer, which means it doesn't need an amplifier. During transport, simply place the mixer in the rear of one of the speakers, and any accessories like cables in a compartment in the other. Thanks to the 10-inch woofers and 400-watt mixer, the MixPack 10 can easily fill a smaller venue with great sound.
MixPack 10: the ins and outs
What can you hook up to the MixPack 10? Its four mono channels are suitable for microphones as well as line signals. You could connect two mics, for example, a keyboard, and an electric/acoustic guitar via a DI box. What's more, the MixPack 10 has two stereo channels for a stereo instrument or audio player. The monitor outputs are especially handy for connecting one or two floor monitors so you can hear yourself on stage. Other features include built-in reverb and two EQ contour modes for optimising the system for either speech or music.
